photo storage?
Grrr!
I’m bummed my posts have been photo free the past few days and I haven’t been able to share the stories I want. I have reached my limit for free photo storage for Flickr and trying to find another resource that will let me store photos and take the html I need to embed here. Picassaweb and Snapfish are giving me trouble. Anyone have ideas so I can get more photos and fun stories cranking here?! I cannot afford to pay and even if I had $ to pay for photo storage I’ve got to believe there are more Flickr like resources out there for free. Hmmm…
I’m chomping at the bit to share stuff here. Boo for road blocks!
Thoughts anyone?

August 28, 2010 at 6:11 pmAs usual, I publish all comments left here (good, bad and ugly) because there are no secrets, and I’m not afraid:
Dear Anonymous,
#1~ AWWW! You must be so darn jealous of me and hate your life. Very cute. I feel sorry for you.
#2~ This IS my job you moron
#3~ When and if the day comes I have a million dollars, I will always utilize a free online photo (or any) kind of service before paying for one. I know- brilliant right?
#4~ You know what they call people like you who make a comment about something then hide behind “Anonymous” ? CHICKEN SHIT. Come on now.
#5~ Most importantly; When I read your comment this morning it reminded me of long about a month ago when that Steve person left a similar, uncalled for rude and jealous comment. At the time it really upset me even though his words were untrue. I lost sleep over that. When I woke up this morning and read your comment on my phone, I laughed, shook my head- and rolled over and fell asleep for another 2 hours.
See, after driving to Alaska, reaching a lifelong goal. honoring my friends and getting to know myself in a place I always wanted to before but never was capable to until now, I am confident enough to smile and shake my head when people like you lash out. I’m living authentically. I give back to the universe. I’m happy. No cowardly person like you will ever be able to make me doubt the truths I know or how I choose to live.
I haven’t the slightest idea why you’d read my blog here if you’d comment like that, so it seems as if you should get another hobby:)

August 30, 2010 at 7:30 pmThanks so much Matt!
I tested a few out this weekend and I ended up having to cough up a bit of loot for more space on Flickr. Dropbox and all are great too, but I couldn’t find/figure out how to make all the sizing/pixels the same as what I have been using 500/375 on Flickr so I had to cave:( Not too bad at only $25 a year in the end anyway I guess. Thanks again for the thought. I am always up for learning about sites like Dropbox, etc. so please feel free to send info. any time you think I might be able to utilize something cool for Blue Lollipop Road.
Thanks for reading!!!
Diane 🙂

September 10, 2010 at 7:34 amWow, the get a job comment was brilliant. I bet he is super happy and content at his job slinging burgers.
Anyway, it’s been awhile Diane but I wanted to offer that I use shutterfly and although I don’t know any specifics about it, I download as much as I want and never pay. It’s pretty cheap, too, to get prints mailed to you.
When are you coming back through Madison?
