I thought of a few things when I drove by this sign tonight:
1.) I have to turn around and take a picture of this.
2.) That’s disgusting.
3.) Thank goodness they are cooked to order! I mean really. Who’d ever want their livers and gizzards just cooked any old way?
Gag.
Then again, I eat Oreos smashed up in a jar of Nutella by the spoonful. I bet the liver and gizzard eaters would think that’s disgusting.

June 26, 2009 at 12:41 pmYou crack me up. Too funny. I always say… don’t knock it until you have tried it. I agree, sounds bad, and I myself have never taken part of livers and gizzards… but if I were to, I would want them cooked to my order as well.
I just recently went to China for a work trip, and while there, ate things I would have never dreamed. Things such as Spicy Turtle, Fish Gut Soup, Cow Lung, and Chicken Feet (as well as others that were just as interesting, but these I specifically recall.) The only thing I really didn’t like was the Chicken Feet. The Cow Lung was a bit chewy and I went back for seconds on the spicy turtle and fish gut soup.
I learned that they really don’t waste any part of an animal in China…anything and everything is editable.
I once had a good friend of mine offer me some Cheddar Cheese on top of an Oatmeal Pie. Really??? So I tried it.. and sure enough… wow…. not bad. For breakfast, I like to put peanut butter in my oatmeal. Now I must try some Oreo’s and Nutella.
