This Guy Is Still Looking Up?

Michael J. Fox, and so many others who are living with horrible illness, have made the choice to keep looking up and be thankful for their every moment. Not only do these people have good attitudes, but they create foundations, raise money and help educate. (Wouldn’t you want to just sit down and cry? I think it’d be pretty hard not to want to have an everyday pity party myself.) I am so humbled by people like this and as I sit here and type with healthy fingers on a sunny morning, all I can do is shake my head and think, man am I lucky. (That and I need, want and will do more to “give back” to my community.)

Perspective.
