What happened on June, 26 1996? I graduated high school in the Green Mountain State. I think that’s the last time I ever saw a guy named Jake Hill until he popped up on my Facebook page a couple weeks ago with a “Saw this today, thought of you!”

hello summer!

Ok, so It’s not summer yet, but here I was this morning- off to the office with a fresh fruit smoothie feeling all summery. It’s been an awesome 90 degree stretch here the past week. My kind of warm and sunshine during the month of May! 🙂

It is such an honor to award a travel scholarship to a deserving female athlete in memory of our lost soccer friends. I cannot express how much it means to me that this scholarship keeps growing & going because of all the public support for BLR, and those alumni who participate in BLR Play It Forward:

buckle up! we’re going for another ride

Today is Tuesday April 29th, and I’m FINALLY getting out a big announcement via email and social media about the all new Blue Lollipop Road!

I had to include the above photo, which is one of my absolute favorites taken during my travels. It makes me smile every time I see it. I stopped at random several years ago on the side of a road with an old digital camera somewhere in Pennsylvania, and this is what I got. I’m sure most of you have seen it before. I couldn’t resist sharing again in hopes to spread some more inspiration. (It makes me feel all happy & inspired.)

To me this photo represents an exciting preparation message for everything to come, a bit of a warning, and a jolt of energy that screams; anything is possible! Like a voice saying “Hey People~ You’ve got one life, just one life. What are you going to do with it?”

And here we go…

i’m going to disneyland!

Ok, I’m actually going to Jazz Fest in New Orleans next weekend, but it sort of feels like I’m about to go to Disneyland! Like a little kid on their birthday, I’m super crazy excited. I’ve wanted to go for years, so as a just-do-it kind of girl who doesn’t like to wait for anything, I’m thrilled to finally knock this one off my travel adventure bucket list! (Side note; I’ve been running a little extra to prepare my body for a beignet feast and dance party like you read about.) Best part, we are road tripping down to the deep south- and you know how much I love a road trip. New Orleans or bust! Get ready for some photos and stories here. Travel Di is back in action with the all-new Blue Lollipop Road.

It’s Tuesday April 22nd, and…

Whoop! Blue Lollipop Road has been all newly paved! 

I am thrilled and hope you enjoy poking around. Please note during this launch week, we will be putting final touches and tweaks on things here to make sure BLR 2.0 is pretty and perfect!
