Because you enjoy reading, following and you believe in living a life you want to live as much as I do.

Contrary to popular belief, I don’t make my living from this blog. In fact, I make no money from this site at all. I currently sling burgers and beers to pay the bills. (AKA: Serving/Bartending.) I started Blue Lollipop Road because I wanted to share the enormous amount of travel tips and fun stories I had collected over the years in hopes they’d help or inspire fellow adventurers. It has become a 365 day a year full-time labor of love for me. I’ve never worked so hard at anything in my life. (Especially for free!) I’ve also never believed in anything more, so even on the days I feel exhausted from my other commitments, I push to keep it all trucking. I know this is meant to be something even bigger than it already is. Until I find a way to make Blue Lollipop Road my living, your support helps fill my gas tank and buy me time to maintain this website.

Pay It Forward:

It will always remain Blue Lollipop Road policy to save 10% of any support to pay forward to someone amazing I meet along my journeys. The saved 10% goes into a BLR specific bank account. When there is at least $100 in that account, I will share the news, then story of whom it went to of course! The last Pay It Forward Recipient was Erin, September, 2010. I can’t wait to see who will be next!
